All good things

Who’s been to Disney World? If you have and you’ve been during the summer, you know what the crowds are like. You KNOW those lines and how long they can get. It gets busy. But it’s worth it in the end, getting on that ride you waited in line for. In Animal kingdom, my favorite ride is Expedition Everest. The line for that ride can get pretty long but I love it too much to skip over it. One time when I went to Disney World over the summer, I went to Animal Kingdom when it opened. Much to my surprise, for the first hour it was open, there were probably only 100 people in the entire park.

Do you know how many times I rode Expedition Everest? It got to the point where when my train came around for me to get off, the cast members just let me get right back on without running through the empty line again.

When I was younger, towards the end of the day, I would go on Kali River Rapids and I would do the same thing. The line was empty and I would run through the line just to ride it again and finally the cast members just told me to stay in the raft. I was well known on certain rides for re-riding them over and over again when the line was short.

Recently, I went to Disney World during October and there weren’t that many people there at all. Let me tell you I didn’t know what to do with myself. While my family was out drinking and eating, I was getting on Space Mountain for the fifth time in a row. Obviously I have a slight obsession with this place.

When I was younger, I was taught that “good things come to those who wait.” And I guess that’s true in some situations in life. But when it comes to Disney World, good things come to those who run through really short lines to ride on rides ten times in a row.
